How tuition and aid work
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on how many days a week a student attends. Most families choose all five; families who teach at home part of the week can ask about fewer days. The school's figures are on the family's enrollment page and are shared at a visit.

Paid by the month or by the term
Registration
Applying and enrolling are two steps, each with its own charge. The first covers reading an application. The second holds a place once an offer is accepted. Each is due at its step, and the guides say when at the visit.
Holding a place
A family has two weeks to answer an offer. A signed agreement and a first payment hold the place, and that payment counts toward tuition. When no place is open, a family joins the waiting list and hears when one is.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly across the school year, or a family can pay by the term. Autopay is set up with the office, which goes over it with you before the first bill.
Help with tuition
Financial aid is available. Here is how to apply: ask for the aid form once you have applied, return it by the date on the form, and the guides read every one with the family's other materials. Aid is based on need. Arkansas families may also be able to use state education programs; ask us what the school takes part in and how to start.
Siblings
A second student from the same family is handled differently from a first. Ask at a visit how it works for your family.
Withdrawing
We ask for a month's written notice before a student leaves. What happens to a term already begun is in the enrollment agreement, and the guides go through it at a visit.
Materials and field trips
Project materials and the occasional trip are separate from tuition. Materials cover the wood, clay, paper and supplies the guides order for everyone. A trip is billed when a family signs its permission slip.
Ask about aid at a visit
Bring your questions about aid and tuition to a visit day, or send them with the form.
